Our recent project in Orewa was installing porcelain tiles on floating deck. The challenge was that gap clearance from indoor to outdoor was very small, only 4-5 cm! So, decision was to install outdoor tiles 2cm thick using very small Karoapp deck jacks. We have supplied pedestals and ordered tiles from SSL Distributors.
At the end we have got very nice modern looking deck! And our clients were happy with result.
Deck jacks were only 18mm to 40mm.
Our recent project was deck renovation, were we have installed Exterpark Magnet decking system as a floating deck sitting on Karoapp jacks.
Our clients had two balconies were waterproofing membrane was done long time ago, but still in good condition.
Work in progress – installation of Modulesca steps at Stanmore Bay project. Imagine working during muddy season – with Modulesca it is easy! Steps will be covered with tiles later, but now they are perfect to walk around straight away after installation.
Steps are connected with each other and secured with screws. Partly filled with course material for stability on the slope.
Fast and easy! Ideal as a DIY project for anyone or time saving products for builders and landscapers.
Steps can be filled with concrete, covered with stones, paving or tiles. They can be covered with decking timber as well – see our previous project.
Our recent project was to install Modulesca steps on existing layout of old steps.
It was very easy and fast. Modules allow rotation to 13 degrees. During installation, we had to adjust curve angle, which was done quickly. Steps were partly filled with coarse Gap 20 and then covered with decking timber.
Another project at Kensington Park, Orewa. Deck was done last year using Heveatech LVL decking. Our client wanted to change from concrete patio to timber decking.
This deck was installed using Heveatech LVL decking Rustic finish and hidden fasteners – Hardwood clips. Deck was coated using Resene stain.
